Time to go back!
Good Morning everyone - Well, I'm sad to say, but it's that time of year. Time for me to go back to school or work, which ever one you want to call it. I know that God has given me my job. And I thank him for it. I at least get several vacations a year. I work with fantastic people of the world. They understand how I feel concerning my God, my church, my family and the life I have chosen to live. They protect me in many ways. By their language, their stories, irate parents, and even their worldly beliefs. In this public school, I am permitted to show my faith. I often speak of how God has been good to me and my brethren. I've even told my coworkers and the kids to shhhhhhh, today is a day of prayer, when I really needed to be deep in prayer. And thank God, they respected me for it. I have different nativities sitting around especially around Christmas. In a suttle way, I have put nativities in the main show case. I had one of the teachers come up and thank me for my effort no matter how suttle they were. He still knew what they meant. I can even listen to my gospel music without anyone telling me to turn it off. I usually listen to instrumentals, but during Christmas program time, I listen to the music we are trying to learn, over and over again. So, how blessed I am that God gave me this job. At least it's not that bad to go back to work when I can take God with me and show He is with me. Chelsea-Belsea's dad works for our school system also. He works in all the schools in our area. So every once in a while I get to see one of the brethren. And you know what, it's usually when I need a pick me up. I'm praying for a good and safe school year. At this age group (7th & 8th grade) you never know what kind of mood their going to be in, so prayer is an absolute necessity. Well, prayer is always a necessity even in our every day life. Everyone have a good day. I'll talk to you later.

Thank you for your prayers
Hi everyone,
I am truly thankful for all your prayers. I would love to say that my heart has regained normal rhythm, but it hasn't. I still need your prayers. I feel better. But that nagging flips, flutters and fast beat is wearing me down. Like Krissy said, it usually corrects itself in 2 to 12 hours. It's been 48 hours now. I asked for our bishop to come and annoint me and pray for me. I leave it in God's hands. I know that God can heal me of this condition. I know He has that power. But if this is a burden I must bear, I pray I will except His help in handling it.

The Cake That Prayer Built!!

Cake prayer needed!!
Hi everyone - I usually stand in church and ask for prayer when I have a big cake to do. Needless to say, I didn't ask for prayer with the Cat in the Hat cake. But, I will ask for this one coming up. I have a wedding cake due this weekend. It's similar to Kissy's lay out. It won't have the basket weave, just the swiss dots and ribbons. I would appreciate it if you could just say a small prayer for me concerning this cake. I like to do a good job for those who request cakes. I thank God that he allowed me this hobby to enjoy. I may not be a professional, but I do want to do a good job.

That Crazy Cat's Hat!!!
Good Morning everyone - I decorate cakes as a hobby. This week one of the teachers I work with wanted a cake for her son's first birthday. She wanted a Cat in the Hat cake. Just the hat! I thought wow, this will be easy. She wanted a simple three tier cake that looks like that crazy cat's hat. Oh my, it was anything but easy. I would have rather done a wedding cake. Lord willing, I will never make another hat cake like this one again. Maybe in a sheet cake where I can make the images. I made and added the fish and bowl so that the little guy could at least have a happy birthday on his cake. I enjoy decorating cakes. But, I've got to figure out a way to do this one better. Below is my rendition of the Cat in the Hat - cat's hat Oh by the way, yes it is leaning, but that makes it look more like a that crazy cat's hat. lol Now it's my secret if I did that on purpose or if it just happened that way
